Upon opening, the nose produced smells such as barnyard, green pepper and red fruit. As the wine was sat for a few hours the nose develope more of a "older wine" smell;more of a traditional bordeaux nose. On the palet it was a bit closed and I would say past it's prime but still had good red berry notes and a medium finish. color was still a strong purple with some lightness around the edge.

Great sturucture still with purple color; Nose was fruity with hints of blueberry and slight hints of green pepper. Long and smooth finish.

Robert Mondavi - Cabernet Sauvignon To-Kalon Vineyard Reserve
Decanted for 4 hours. bordeaux like in it's early tones yet good blackfruit with strong blackberry on the tongue with a medium and simple finish

William Cole - Cabernet Sauvignon Cuvee Claire
Classic CA cab. Purple in color, long legs with strong black fruit on the nose with a hint of chocolate. Great up front flavor, soft in the mouth but finished quickly after a hint of carmel/vanilla. Great tasting wine but not overly complex.

Vincent Girardin - Chassagne-Montrachet Abbaye de Morgeot 1er Cru
Light gold in color. Low rim variation. Medium legs. Smooth taste, not a long finish with hints of lemon and black pepper. Not much oak in the taste - hint of butter developed after some time in the air.
