Larkmead - Cabernet Sauvignon Estate
This 2012 is special, give it a little air and it will really open up. Dark, ripe fruit, black cherry, berries, and licorice notes. One of the better Larkmead I've ever enjoyed. 94 points, this is WILL GET BETTER as it is very young! Parker gives it 93 points and he gave Caymus Anniversary 96 points? You have got to be kidding me?
Becklyn - Cabernet Sauvignon
This newcomer shows a huge flavor profile, displaying a lovely sweet floral bouquet, dark ruby purple color, nice legs on the side of the glass. Ripe berries, cassis, black licorice, bitter sweet coco and tobacco notes. This Cab is drinking nicely with a wonderful lingering finish. This is a VERY GOOD CAB with a great future ahead of it.
Winter - Cabernet Sauvignon
Dark purple to the rim, dark fruit, ripe berries and black currant. Big and dense, yet a smooth texture, with intense, dark fruit concentration. This is a winner!
Neyers - Merlot Neyers Ranch Conn Valley
A well constructed Merlot that exhibits a generous, rich full bodied profile. Silky and lush in the mouth, dark cherries and a nice structure. Drinking very well now and I anticipate will do very well with some aging.
I understand that the Napanook vineyard has undergone an vast replanting program and that this is the smallest quantity of Dominus produced since 1984. A collectable wine, perhaps so!
