Drinking well with years left.
Frederic Esmonin - Ruchottes-Chambertin
Brick/mahogany red color; slightly funky nose of dried fruit (fig, prune, raisin) with gamey/meaty notes; similar flavors; decent intensity of fruit; soft, integrated tannins. Very good but not grand cru quality Burgundy. Drink now and over the next couple of years.
Claudie Jobard - Rully Montagne La Folie
Consistent notes. Full rich nose of tropical fruit and a touch of oak; lovely entry on the palate with plenty of fruit yet crispness and balance; a bit rustic but in a sensual way; really quite delicious for a villages Rully and a step up from her straight villages; long finish.
Massolino - Barolo
Consistent notes. Brick to tawny red color showing significant age, but nose is fresher, with black fruit, spice, earth and smoke. Similar flavors with good intensity; soft, silky, integrated tannins; medium body, and a moderately long elegant finish. A lovely Barolo early maturing that is best drunk soon.
Gerard Morin - Sancerre Clos du Chene Marchand
Consistent notes. Lovely nose of flowers and citrus; similar flavors are lush yet crisp with a significantly tart grapefruit, citrus & mineral notes; elegant, complex; long lingering finish; none of the typical grassiness seen in many new world Sauvignon Blancs. An excellent Sancerre that benefitted from decanting/airing.
