Casisano-Colombaio - Brunello di Montalcino
Consistent notes, showing further development in bottle. Inky dark red color. Elegant and stylish w/lovely structure, balance, and complexity; soft tannins, black fruit; long complex finish. Good bottle development. Delicious now and for the next several years.
Leroy (Domaine) - Vosne-Romanee
Consistent notes. Very light red color; amazingly exotic nose of asian spices and musky, earthy notes typical of Leroy's top domaine wines; sadly a bit disappointing on the palate with limited, somewhat unidimensional fruit typical of the vintage. Soft integrated tannins, silky texture. Leroy's expert hands are evident but the fruit just isn't there. An enjoyable wine nonetheless.
Trimbach - Riesling Cuvee Frederic Emile
Consistent notes. Medium golden color showing some age but bright and crisp on the nose and palate; aromas of citrus (lemon & lime), melon, diesel and minerals; impressively rich on the palate with similar flavors, wonderful balance and a stony crispness; elegant, complex flavors on the long finish; a wonderful dry riesling second only in quality to Clos St. Hune, it should continue to drink well for several more years.
Louis Jadot - Gevrey-Chambertin Estournelles St Jacques 1er Cru
Bright med. red color; lovely nose of primarily black fruit, spice, and toasted oak; silky smooth flavors, elegant, rich, and concentrated yet not big or heavy; med. body; soft integrated flavors; long complex finish; ready now but will continue to drink well for several more years.
Louis Jadot - Pernand-Vergelesses Blanc En Caradeux Clos de la Croix de Pierre 1er Cru
Made from Premier Cru fruit from an 8 acre vineyard in Pernand-Vergelesses (mostly planted w/Pinot Noir - only 16% of the production in the village consists of Chardonnay) owned exclusively by Louis Jadot (making this a monopole). Consistent notes. Brilliant golden-yellow color. Rich, lush, and elegant reminiscent of a good 1er cru Chassagne-Montrachet from the likes of a Marc Morey, only slightly leaner. Excellent definition and balance; good complexity; fine long finish. Drinking beautifully now and should continue to do so for several more years.

Changes to Marketplace selling off-site
As of 3/1/14, apparently there is no longer a way for the community to buy and sell wine off-site through Vinfolio, and transferring the wine to Vinfolio first would result in being charged storage fees until it is sold and...
