RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication". It is a way to easily distribute a list of headlines, update notices, and sometimes inventory changes to a wide number of people. Think of it as a one-stop shop for all the stuff you want to read online. For the consumer, an aggregator or reader, either web-based or installed on your computer, ties it all together.

To make use of this information, you have to download and install an RSS feed reader like SharpReader. Every so often, the aggregator checks the RSS feeds you selected. You log on to the aggregator and see the updates to your favorite sites, blogs and stores, all in one place. For more information on RSS, please visit:

2004 Chante-Cigale - Chateauneuf du Pape
Consistent notes. Nice dark youthful ruby color; full nose of smoky, earthy black fruit; quite intense fruit on the palate and still youthfully rustic with tannins beginning to soften; it is evolving slowly. A very good CDP that may benefit from more time and should drink nicely over the next several years.

2008 Etienne Sauzet - Puligny-Montrachet
A well made, pleasant and very drinkable Burgundy, but nothing special. Lacks complexity and finish.

2005 Aubuisieres - Vouvray Cuvee de Silex
Consistent notes. A good, off-dry chenin blanc with silky, complex, rich yet crisp fruit flavors and a long elegant finish. Good as an aperitif and pairs well with food (white meat, fish, foie, etc.)

2008 Gabriel et Paul Jouard - Chassagne-Montrachet Morgeot 1er Cru
Light golden hue. Full, rich nose of tropical fruit, citrus & spice. rich, refined, and long on the palate; subtle use of wood, with good acidity and balance. Delicious.

2001 Joseph Drouhin - Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru
Consistent notes; no further bottle development. Med. brick red color; lovely perfumed nose of black fruit and smoked bacon; lovely black & red fruit flavors with good backbone, soft integrated tannins, moderate intensity but lacks complexity; long finish. Fully mature but will hold for a couple more years.
