Bosquet des Papes - Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee Chantemerle (Vieilles Vignes)
A more advanced bottle showing some oxidation and drying out of the fruit but still enjoyable. Other recent bottles have shown much better and with the following notes: "Consistent notes. Med. ruby color with mahogany rim; lovely spicy mixed fruit and leather nose that follows through on the palate with similar flavors; excellent complexity; and a very long finish. Fully mature and drinking well now and will continue to do so for several more years. Elegant for a CDP. Lovely." Those bottles were rated 93 with a drink date of 2009-2019
