RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication". It is a way to easily distribute a list of headlines, update notices, and sometimes inventory changes to a wide number of people. Think of it as a one-stop shop for all the stuff you want to read online. For the consumer, an aggregator or reader, either web-based or installed on your computer, ties it all together.

To make use of this information, you have to download and install an RSS feed reader like SharpReader. Every so often, the aggregator checks the RSS feeds you selected. You log on to the aggregator and see the updates to your favorite sites, blogs and stores, all in one place. For more information on RSS, please visit:

2010 Vietti - Dolcetto d'Alba Tre Vigne
Knockout nose with pure fruit and plenty of structure/acidity to make it an awesome pairing with meaty pasta. Great value!

Always a fun wine to drink on a warm day. Or a day you wish were warm.

2004 Donnhoff - Oberhauser Brucke Riesling Spatlese
Really delicious Spatlese with great flavors of ripe stone fruit and juicy citrus with honey. Mouth-coating and broad, but framed by fresh acidity. A little short on the finish, but nothing to complain about. Great value!

2010 Chiarli - Lambrusco di di Sorbara Premium
A fun wine, great for hot summer days. Not going to blow your mind, but for the price, a lot of fun.

2008 Luciano Sandrone - Nebbiolo d'Alba Valmaggiore
Has opened up considerably since last tasted 4 months ago. Lush nose of pretty dark fruit and the typical tar and floral notes. Medium bodied with no heaviness. Has shed the youthful tannins that were dominant on the finish earlier. A great value, delicious Nebbiolo!
