Displays the some of the brioche and toasty, doughy essences this producer is known for. Finish is long but somewhat tart. This is a very good bubbly, but I've had better bottles. Should improve with 3-5 years of bottle age.
This is a brilliant non-vintage Champagne, w/ a vigorous mousse and striking beam of crushed rocks, granny smith apple peel, hay and dried honey notes that pulse along a gorgeous backbone of exceptionally sharp focus. This cuvee provides top notch quality for the price and is as pristine and symmetrical as NV gets (w/ a couple caveats of course).
