This is what those oysters-on-the half-shell are screaming for! Bright, zippy and cool, bare elegance. The nose is one of verve and delineated chalk, green pear and lemon pith. A bone-dry, clear-as-a bell mouth of grapefruit, green apple granita and lemon sorbet cleanse and titillate the mouth and the finish is the cleanest and most refreshing you will encounter.

There is a rustic, pungent aspect to this wine which is precariously balanced against a melange of ripe fruits and hints of toasted caramel. Flavors are crisp and leaves an impression of evaporating off my palate. A very nice wine indeed.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
