I usually love Veuve Yellow Label. Before I started working at Vinfolio this was my favorite champagne. That is until I started tasting really good champagnes!! Still really good for under $40 though.

I really find this disappointing for the money. Subjective, but I think it lacks the yeastiness I want from a true Champagne.

i like this. it is only $50 and widely available in liquor stores. the finish is very clean and refreshing, making it great to drink on its own.

Hadn't had this in quite some time and was given a bottle. Basically what I remembered/expected. Simple and sweet. Not my style, though not offensive when free.

This is a great example of wine marketing at its finest; it offers no complexity, far too much residual sugar for to be labeled "Brut," and really nothing to recommend it other than that it has been featured in numerous TV shows and movies. Not bad for nearly $50 in many shops...

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
