Crystal clear, pale yellow in color, with aromas of meye lemon, kumquat, lime zest, and white flowers when cold. When the wine approaches room temperature, a bit of funk starts to waft from the glass. On the palate, the wine tastes of lime, lemon curd, aniseed, and white pepper and has a nice minerality and a lively acidity - while cold. When it reaches room temperature, the funk comes out - an off flavor reminiscent of rotten garlic that comes from stressed yeast during fermentation. The wine becomes insipid and uninteresting.
