While this was crisper and it flavors more sharply defined than most Chardonnays, it was ultimately disappointing. Too much oak (read=vanillins) and it tasted like it might have gone through secondary malo. Would have been much better had it been vinifed with no oak. Okay, but I wouldn't buy this again. As new world Chards go, Edna Valley Paragon Vineyard tastes exactly the same and at half the price.
