The wine was wonderfully aromatic. The nose was dominated with blackberry and black currant. The dark, ripe fruits, accompanied by an appropriate spiciness, were enjoyable. The spice from the oak and dark chocolate, along with the round tannins, made for a great finish. Overall, a nicely balanced wine.
