When Paul Hobbs founded his eponymous winery in 1991, he set out to produce small lot, hand-crafted, vineyard designate wines. He began with just three - one Chardonnay, one Pinot Noir and one Cabernet Sauvignon.

Very good juice. Trumpets the 2008 amd 2009 from this vineyard but probably needs a bit more time to mature. Nice red berry fruit aromas and attack followed by modest minerality and some smoke and spice. Tasty.
