Drink Dates 2012-2020

The 2010 Pinot Noir Aston Estate flows from the glass with sweet red cherries, crushed flowers, spices and sweet herbs. It shows terrific density and richness in its texture, with layers of fruit that build nicely towards the deep, fleshy finish. This is a beautifully balanced wine.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
