Lemon, white flowers, fresh herbs and a suggestion of biscuit on the sexy nose. Juicy and firm, boasting uncanny precision and grip for 2009. The citrus and herb flavors are carried by an iodiney suggestion of oyster shell on the sappy finish. Classic, juicy village wine.

The 2009 Chablis is a gorgeous wine to drink over the next few years. It comes across as quite harmonious, with an openness and accessibility that are very appealing. A supple, pliant finish rounds things out nicely.

Tasted On 12/04/2010

Touch of minerality and lemon juice; not too much length or intensity, but its just AOC, so great for the dough

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
