Excellent wine, almost perfect balance and a very long life ahead. Structure, body, smoothness, everything is present.

This wine's opulent nose of big, black fruit entices one to try and quaff this beautiful, mouthfilling wine tasting of black currant, vanilla, blueberry pie, graphite, and mint. A fantastic minerality binds the flavors together into a coherent whole - and this wine is still a baby. Beautiful. Resist the urge to quaff - this is a wine to savor. Just be sure to save some in the cellar for the future!

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
