Really smooth tannins and silky mouthfeel. Fresh, rich red fruit, oak and a long finish. This is one of the extended barrel-aged wines from Booker to be consumed young, but it may benefit from another year or two in the bottle. Good wine.
Our new addition to Booker is the "Oublié" (the forgotten one). This 34% Grenache, 33% Counoise and 33% Mourvedre blend brings a vibrant mix of fresh red fruits and undertones of blueberries to the palate. The mourvedre and syrah give it a balanced structure, with notes of black fruits and spice.
