On the nose, its gorgeous earthy, sage brush, and even a bit dirty like a burgundy. But on the palate its nicely balanced, meduim bodied, and full of earth, wet forest floor, damp leaves, twigs, under brush, hints of dark cocoa covered cherries or cherry vanilla cola, a touch of caramel, and fresh picked herbs & spices. Utterly complex its keeps you digging for more. This wine may have changed my way of thinking about Oregon Pinot.
