Some nice flavors here, but too much hidden by oak. A little more approachable on day 2.

I'm not a Beringer fan. But I read somewhere that this was a really good everyday cab so I took a flyer. This wine is over-oaked, with heavy prune, oak and smokey flavor. But for the price point it is a good choice.
