Vivid yellow. Seductively aromatic nose offers ripe peach and melon scents complicated by spice and smoke and lifted by a floral element. Showing more power and intensity than the Hudson, with deep pit fruit flavors and a hint of mango. Finishes with superb clarity and length, the mineral and spice notes echoing.

The stunning 2008 Chardonnay Hyde Vineyard reveals an intense bouquet of tropical fruits, white currants, white peaches, pineapple and citrus oil followed by a full-bodied white that lives up to its exquisite aromatics. It should drink beautifully for 7-8 years.

Definitely one of the more fantastic chards I have tasted. The complexity was intriging and enjoyable. After it opened up the aromas af apple, pear, and vanilla changing with each sip. The minerality, light spice, and oak were a delight.

Clear, light golden in hue with little rim variation. Clean expressive nose of citrus and minerality with a touch of leesy character and vanilla. Dry, intense palate of citrus again with some buttery notes on the long finish. A well integrated california chard that does well to balance fruit/acid and wood characters. Not nearly the butter bomb as the Vine Hill vineyard IMHO
