Elegant and spicy with great balance. Sweet, chocolatey-rich wine with sweet cassis fruit, notions of smoke and herbs, supple tannin, and low acidity. Long smooth finish and silky mouthfeel. Excellent value!

Big, dry, muscular wine, assertive in tannins. Muscular and intense, it should provide great drinking for many years. A very great expression of its vineyard, which is basically the old Beringer State Lane Vineyard. Inky dark with layers of flavor that unwind in seemless procession with an incredible silky mouthfeel. More tannic than the '07, should be cellerable for a long time. Bouquet of cherry, mushrooms, loam, currants, and sweet spices. On the palate, same red fruits and spices are abundant, with mineral-driven blackberry and black currant flavors. . Great mouthfeel and body, almost a bit chewy.

Drink Dates 2011-2025

Decanted for 5 hours before drinking. An amazing wine for a second label from Kapcsandy. Deep ruby6 red with a wonderful nose of huge red berries, cassis and earth. Smooth silky tannins with a long wonderful finish. Will definitely purchase again. Was originally annoyed that i had to purchase to buy Estate Lane wine. Happy now, wonderful wine at a reasonable price point.
