Always a crowd-pleaser...lovely aromas of pineapple, tropical fruit, and a hint of citrus zest. There is a creaminess that is not overpowering which combines nicely with light toast, vanilla, and mineral. The mouthfeel makes this a perfect accompaniment to salmon, roast chicken, and crab cakes.

I really liked this Chardonnay. Not a ton of oak like most Chardonnays. Well balanced and easy to drink.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
