OMG is this good juice. Fantastic out of the bottle. Big nose of mushroom and cedar. Refined tannins, smooth finish. I only wish I had more. A truly outstanding bottle of wine!

I like to drink red wines young. Occaisionally, this requires me to plead guilty of opening a bottle too soon. Not so with this wine. It is ready to drink now. This is a Bordeaux blend that is virtually opaque. It has a nose and flavor of blackberries and black cherries. Very well balanced with smooth tannins. Robert Parker rates it 98 but I usually find his ratings too high. This is no exception. This is an outstanding wine but it is not a 98.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
