A beautiful blend of 50% old vine Mouvedre, 25% Cinsault, and 25% Grenache, this rose has a gorgeous pale salmon/peach hue. On the nose are aromas of mineral, grapefruit, and strawberry. Classic, dry Provence rose, this wine has good acidity and lingering lemon zest. Year in and year out this is a crowd pleasing rose, the epitome of Provence.

The rosé was easily enjoyable visually that entices the palate with a boutique of familiar scents and flavors. My friends and I all had separate experiences since it is a blend rosé. I tasted more citrus than anything else. While a friend noted she her palate danced with sweetness when paired with pineapple.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
