Auction prices are based on actual auction results (inclusive of buyerÂ’s premiums) of 750ml bottle sizes only. As auction prices fluctuate from auction to auction and some wines have limited auction activity, the average auction price is updated twice a month and derived from a proprietary algorithm.

Drink Dates 2013-2020

Bone-dry with lots of mineral tones. Lime seems to predominate the other fruit flavors at this time. Would be better to age this for a while. (2011) Now (2013) has developed into a beautiful off-dry riesling with wonderful acidity and a well-rounded citrus profile. LOVED IT.

Lemon yellow with a sheen of green. Classic stony minerality on the nose; lime and a hint of sherbet; very aromatic. Vary crisp acidity, tart with lemon and lime. Slightly hard at the finish, needs more time but definitely has the structure to develop. Will be excellent in 8-10 years.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
