Garnet in color. Slow legs. Black currant (cassis), Forest floor on the nose. Hints of Blackberry, Oak. Plenty of spice. Tannins have mellowed. Great food wine. Drink now.
Had with chicken paprikas. Once again, this zin is perfect with any sort of stew. Long finish and good tannic structure complement onion, green/red peppers and bay leaf.
