Fragrant black cherries, epazote, spearmint, and toasted oak aromas fill the glass of this dark red blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese, and Merlot. Hints of licorice root and cacao powder round out the nose. Bright cherry fruit and oak dominate the palate, with some cinnamon and menthol. Bright acid adds lift and mid-palate tannins and a bit of texture. A good choice for pork or beef.
