I love big, young Cabs, but this one is just too big and rustic for me. I actually liked it better on opening than I did after decanting for an hour. Aromas of plum, cedar & coffee. Good, firm body and density, but a bitter coffee flavor comes out on the finish.

Better on second tasting. Out of the wine cooler it was a bit better but not enough to change my rating.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
