Rich chocolate nose. More chocolate on the palate along with black fruits. This wine has a remarkable depth to it that in my opinion belies all that it has to offer. You don't get a sense of tannin but I think it's there, just in a very well balanced body. Therefore, I think this wine drinks nicely right now but should improve quite a bit with age. I look forward to drinking again in a few years. 95+

Very nice body and fullness for a Napa Cab. Smooth tannins on the finish.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
