Terrific value-priced, easy drinking red. Earthy mouthfeel with a long finish.

Medium to dark garnet in color, this wine has a slightly reduced nose of burnt matches and red fruit. In the mouth it is spicy, with red fruit flavors and a paprika quality. Flavors linger, but don't cohere in the finish.

Spice forward. Small tannin effect at the end. Went well with filet stir-fry. Smelled of purple berries.
