I used to not be a big Merlot fan, as most of them were too light for me. But I have discovered fuller bodied Merlot's that are excellent. This wine is really elegant. Blackberry, dark cherry and vanilla flavors, with a good body and long finish for a Merlot. Tasted three times with consistent results.

$56, 4503 cases. 94% Merlot, rest Cab. Nice sweet nose of red fruits. Good fruit, some nice gripping tannin, dusty on palate. Finish is a bit short.
