Dark, dark, red with just a hint of blue. In the glass are aromas of tobacco, herbs de provence, smoke, granite, and blackberry brambles. On the palate there are loads of blackberry fruit and concentrated pomegranate, combined with fairly sturdy tannins and structure. The finish has multiple layers of spice cake, dark berry fruit, and tobacco.

Absolutely lovely. Decanted 2 hours, consumed over the following 4. Everything simply improved over time from appearance to nose to finish.

Blueberry notes on the nose. Nice, full, complex flavor - a little thin on the back end. VERY smooth, despite the alcohol over %15. Very nice wine, easy drinking - drink now.

15.2% alcohol, 50% Zinfandel, 24% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Syrah, 9% Petite Sirah,2% Charbono, 1% Grenache Aromas: macerated red raspberry, boysenberry with bits of violet and sage thrown in Palate: the mouth feel is silky and round with no roughness in spite of the alcohol. Coffee, blackberry, a creamy mocha and Santa Rosa plum component lead into a long finish Impression: Always a wine to be on the lookout for. An outstanding wine for the price.

great structure from the cab (24%) and lots of dark fruit from the zin (50%). I decanted for about 20 minutes before drinking to help it open up. Still a bit tight but definitely enjoyable now. a great value wine.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
