Nice structure. Peppery bouquet with strong taste of tobacco and dark cherries. Continued to evolve with dinner as black pepper note came through stronger later in bottle

Medium-body; structured fruit; spice notes, but not over-powering...went very well with braised pork and rice w/annato sauce.

Wow, what a wine. Powerful, amazing nose of roses, flavors of currants and vanilla. Who knows what decanting time and more bottle age would do. At least it was uncorked for about 2-3 hours before pouring. Finish is so long - this would stand up to chocolate, or to steak with a sweet sauce. It's just huge, but all in balance.

Drank very good from the bottle. Fruity with spicy finish - hints of pepper. Excellent wine

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
