Producer Notes

Bruce and Barbara Neyers developed their Napa winery, centered around the 50-acre Conn Valley Ranch Estate, in 1992. This has been the source for their vineyard-designated Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot programs. Neyers' consultant, Ehren Jordan, has been involved since the beginning. A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
