Unmistakable huge Aussie shiraz. Lots of big dark fruit up front, and lots of alcohol. Long long finish, the flavors stick on your tongue for minutes at a time. Blackberry, vanilla, dust, and strawberry flavors. Aromas of cinnamon and raspberries.

Smooth, powerful, and plush. Muted aromatics. Almost port like feel.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
