Quintessential Ruwer Riesling! With aromas of pink grapefruit and lemon zest this beautiful Spätlese delights the senses. It has fantastic minerality and just a hint of tropical fruit and is incredibly balanced and approachable due in part to its exceptionally long growing period.

Same as prior notes - really terrific and will keep. These Rieslings can be great with years of age. Slightly better than I remember the last bottle.

Clear golden yellow core with little rim variation. Clean aromas of honeysuckle, citrus and steely mineral. Off-sweet palate of honeyed citrus almost syrupy. Medium bodied, medium acid with tight finish. I suppose a good showing for the style, but I'm not a fan of the residual sugar in QmP spatlese Riesling so hard for me to say.

Nose of tropical fruit, honey, and flowers. Well balanced with a slight hint of botrytis. Finish moderate with sleek lingering after taste.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
