These two bottles were wonderful! Beautiful expressions of a Chablis styled Chardonnay. Very vibrant crisp acidity with a nice round mouthfeel. Medium to bodied. A piercing and clean wine. Matched perfectly with bacon wrapped scallops and brussel sprouts in a beurre blanc sauce. Superb! Will be buying more at Barrel Tasting Weekend in Sonoma on 2/6/10.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
