Very approchable consider its only 2 year cabernet. Madure using Lees techniques give such soft, sweety fruit in where the tannins aren't dialing! is a joy to enjoy in his youth. Doesn't seem to have the structure for aging. What a great value $12/bottle!
This 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon is a deep purple color. 13.9% alcohol. I get aromas of Oak, Earth and Alcohol, subtle Black Cherry with a hint of Blackberry. Lot's of heat on the nose. Oak, Cassis and Black Cherry on the palate with subtle notes of Vanilla and Leather. A lot of heat on the back of the palate. Dark Cherry and too much Oak on the finish. Medium tannins, lively acidity. Wine Advocate scored this wine 90 pts and I'm not feeling it. Why do wine critics continually keep giving high scores to over-oaked, overly-extracted, high alcohol wines?

Purple in color. Medium rim variation. Slow legs. Blackberry and Black Pepper on the nose. Raisin and Raspberry flavors. Medium/Full bodied. Silky texture. Medium to long finish with soft tannins. Definitely well worth the $11! Get a case.
