This red/purple, dry-farmed zin smells of dark berries, pomegranate, and candied apple with hints of eucalyptus and roasted nuts. On the palate, it displays juicy dark fruit, and an abundance of spice. In fact, this is not so much a brambly, fruit forward zin as much as it is a spice box in a glass. Although high in alcohol (16.3%), there is plenty of flavor to mask it's presence.
