Limpid raspberry red that you can easily see and read through. Almost clear at the rim. Sweet cherry and raspberry on the nose with confectioner's sugar. Pomegranate and citrus. Good acid. Strawberry. Much better showing than at the tasting, though tasted stand-alone here.
A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
