Keith Emerson and Brian Brown met while they were both at Vineyard 29 in Napa Valley working with Philippe Melka. This is the third vintage of the collaboration between Keith Emerson (of Vineyard 29) and Brian Brown (of Round Pond) and the third time is definitely the charm! The wine is dark aubergine in color and is slightly opaque without being inky. The perfume is so intense, that the aromas of blue fruits, violets and dark chocolate are almost overwhelming. On the palate the wine is incredibly balanced with good tannins, structure, concentration, and minerality. There are lingering flavors of dark chocolate, dark berry fruit, and just a hint of cedar. This is a beautiful Napa Cabernet Sauvignon and a fantastic value. Enjoy it now, but it will also continue to age gracefully for the next 15 years.

This wine is beautiful! Excellent balance of fruit, tannin and acidity. Lots of black rasberry and cherry. The bouquet is lush and inviting. It's an excellent value...better than many cabernets 2 to 3 times the price. Great value!
