I think I am closer to being in the James Laube camp on this one than Parker. Thought I feel its better than an 88 point wine, its definitely NOT a 98 point wine either. I decanted this wine for about 5 hours before drinking. It has a beautiful woodsy nose which suggests that the wine is going to full of earthy notes with dust and mature fruit. I found this wine to still be too young with delicate and refined tannins and a sour ending. I have had better for the price.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
