Tightly wound nose with black cherry and raspberry aromas. The wine was a bit more "alcoholy" than other Washington state Cabs. Tried a glass the 2nd day for comparison, and everything was toned down, so decanting this wine for at least an hour would do it a lot of good. The finish had a "gritty" oak-spice flavor that sat for a while. Not bad for a very young Cab, but you could tell it was an entry level wine; it'd be great to serve as your red wine for a mid to large size party (surely would beat other lower-priced offerings).
