Visual: dark ruby. Nose: ripe dark fruit and cocoa Taste: surprisingly mellow and non-attacking, cherry, balanced with depth, soft tannins. Fairly extracted. While 2007 is young, I have no issue with drinking this now.

After decanting an hour, it was smooth with dark fruits, with complexity which lingered on the palate. Very approachable now. I really liked this wine.

This was a great wine. It had great weight and a buttery finish. Black berry was detectable in the nose and the taste.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
