While only part Sangiovese this was all Italy with that dryness of the Tuscan sun evident in the first sip. Black cherry and red fruits with undertones of chocolate and grilled meat. Nearly opaque, dark purple, tannins are softening but the acid and structure are there for this to pair with anything. Easily lived up to its low to mid 90s scoring. Great with pizza but don't hesitate to throw steak at it.

There's wonderful intensity of fruit in this wine, with crushed raspberry and blackberry and hints of coffee and fresh flowers. Full-bodied, with velvety tannins and a long, soft-textured finish that shows loads of fruit. Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Best after 2010.
"Tre" is a blend of Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet. The grapes are carefully selected from our three estates Brancaia (Castellina), Poppi (Radda) and Brancaia in Maremma (Morellino di Scansano). TRE is a wine full of character giving you drinking enjoyment already at young age.
