Formally known as "Belles Soeurs," this wine is a combination of fruit grown both on the estate and from other vineyards that are sustainably farmed with extremely low yields under the supervision of Beaux Freres. The robe is a lovely medium red and the aromas are a bouquet of flowers combined with cherries, raspberries, and a hint of forest floor. The acidity is elegant yet pronounced, followed by continuing fruit, with just a hint of spice and mushroom. This is beautiful Pinot and sure to be quite the crowd pleaser.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
