Excellent, especially considering it is the winery's entry level PN. Concentrated, rich, and silky. Nose wasn't as interesting as the flavors. Significant amounts of cherry and a little spice on the finish. Excellent for what was considered a mediocre year in the WV.

Just like a good Pinot Noir, this 2007 Adelsheim was velvety smooth with a silky finish. Lots of ripe berries and fresh. It was paired with a rosemary salmon for a delightful evening.

Drink Dates 2008-2012

The entry-level 2006 Pinot Noir Willamette Valley is medium ruby-colored with a fragrant bouquet of cherry and raspberry. This is followed by a smooth-textured, elegant wine with spicy red fruit flavors and a silky finish. Drink it over the next four years.
