Auction prices are based on actual auction results (inclusive of buyerÂ’s premiums) of 750ml bottle sizes only. As auction prices fluctuate from auction to auction and some wines have limited auction activity, the average auction price is updated twice a month and derived from a proprietary algorithm.

Fruit bomb with some structure, great with hanger or skirt steak.

Blech. Parker says this is one of the best new values, but it did nothing but make me fell a little ill.

Deep dark opaque burgundy color. Demure nose, not too much going on, blueberry notes. Has a heaviness on palate (a bit "muddy"), light tannin, lots of dark fruits. OK medium length finish. A nice daily drinker but not too much complexity. Does what it was made to do quite well.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
