Drink Dates 2011-2013

Renowned Guigal nails this 2007 Cote Du Rhone. Deep garnet in color. Aromas include blackberry and dark fruit. Palate has white pepper, oak, smoke and blackberry. Medium tannins. Not powerful but classic and easy to enjoy.

Drink Dates 2009-2012

This bottle was a little more corpulent than the previous two I've consumed. Rounder, more supple mouthfeel and slightly more complexity,showing white pepper and a hint of lavender on the finish. Simple but enjoyable. Drink all bottles by end of 2012.

this is one of the best bottle out of the whole case i have been going thru slowly. dark red color, well define red rim, still got lots of wood in the nose. evidence of red fruit, shape sour cherry hint. in the mouth is dry, still got reasonable amount of subtle fruit, rusty nail after taste. i really liked this especially with food. the last 2-3 bottles that i open were showing evidence of flattening and drying out, but this one says otherwise. shows inconsistance of cork closure. all and all, pretty enjoyable. especially for the price.

Pineapple and Green Apple on the nose. pear with lemon zest at the end. Good wine for the price
