As auction prices fluctuate from auction to auction and some wines have limited auction activity, the average auction price is updated twice a month and derived from a proprietary algorithm.

Robust with black currant, casis and forest floor. Very drinkable, the bottle disappeared very quickly. Good from start to finish and quite ready now. If you can find any, get some, you will not be disappointed. A fraction of the cost of its Oakville neighbors.

On the nose, the 2007 displays aromas of cedar, tobacco, allspice and dark ripe fruits. The palate delivers flavors of black cherry, currant, dark chocolate which are framed by elegantly integrated tannins and balanced acidity. The lengthy finish has exhibits a marriage of dark fruits and french oak. A wine that looks to be one of the best yet from this outstanding spot.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
