Medium to full body. 2 hour decant. Decent Napa cab nose, very short finish, weak fruit with somewhat biting tannins on the close. Hopefully this was an off bottle as I've had many $20 Napa cabs that are much better.

I have enjoyed this wine very much. I just purchased another case of 2008 and tried it this passed weekend. The way I drink it is run it through a Vinturi aerator or decanter and let it open up for about 10 minutes. This Cab opens with generous aromas of dark chocolate, black cherry and spice which are layered with dusty cedar and loam. The palate is vibrant and concentrated; bursting with ripe black cherries, plum, currant and blackberry which are balanced with well structured tannins providing a lasting grip while maintaining a refined elegance.

I haven't been too impressed by this winery. This wine opens with blueberry and menthol aroma but evolves into plums. But the mouthfeel is a bit flabby and sweet with no finish.
