En måttlig djup färg, med en citron-guld nyans. Trots en mycket välmående näsa, fullmatat med honungslen tropiska frukter, särskilt ananas, samt nyanser av knäck och försiktiga drag av äpplen. Det mest uppenbara är den höga restsötman som detta vin bär, en välkänd Zind-Humbrecht egenskap. Pinot Gris Clos Windsbuhl är ett kraftfullt vin med intensiva men rena aromer av mandel. Vinet imponerar i sin ungdom, men har balansen för ett långt liv. Ett stort vin i alla årgångar.
